Help support Sherry through her lung transplant

Donation protected
Sherry was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, an incurable lung disease, roughly 5 years ago. Over the last two years she's worked with the lung transplant team at The University of Iowa Hospitals in preparation for being listed for transplant. She was required to lose nearly 100 pounds to qualify for the transplant. She worked extremely hard and was able to achieve that goal. Recently, Sherry developed a fungal infection in her left lung that caused her to have a major allergic reaction.
This resulted in her being taken by ambulance to the hospital and then Life-Flighted to The University of Iowa Hospitals where she is being cared for currently. Once the doctors can get her infection managed, she will be listed for a double lung transplant.
Sherry has been a cosmetologist for 44 years and last week had to "hang up her sheers" (as she says), for the last time. Scott, Sherry's husband is a self-employed truck driver and has had to take a lot of time off work to be by her side. Going from two incomes to one and Scott not being able to work as much right now has made finances extremely tight for them.
We greatly appreciate any help you can provide for Sherry and Scott as they have a long road ahead with Sherry in the hospital in lowa City and the impending transplant.
