❤️ Help Glenn & Sherry Through This Medical Crisis

Our pool community is about so much more than a game. It’s about friendship, family, and coming together when someone we care about needs us most. Now, it’s our turn to show up for two people who have given so much to our community.

Glenn and Sherry, our beloved pool league operators, were enjoying a vacation in Cabo when their lives suddenly took a frightening turn. While out to dinner, Sherry began feeling unwell. What followed was a medical emergency no one could have ever anticipated.

Doctors discovered that Sherry had a hole in her esophagus that allowed air to enter her body, causing one of her lungs to collapse. Glenn and Sherry were forced to pay out of pocket for the medical treatment needed to get her collapsed lung under control while in Cabo. Unfortunately, her complications didn't stop there. Fluid in her body led to sepsis, making an already terrifying situation even more serious.

To make matters worse, they were in a location where their insurance was not accepted, leaving them responsible for enormous medical expenses while trying to get Sherry the care she desperately needed.

Thankfully, Glenn and Sherry have made it back to the United States. But getting Sherry back onto U.S. soil came at an incredible cost and doesn't even begin to cover the total amount they have had to pay out of pocket so far.

Between the emergency treatment for Sherry's collapsed lung in Cabo, the mounting medical expenses, and the tremendous cost of getting her back to the United States, the financial burden has become overwhelming. While returning to the U.S. means they can now work toward having their insurance help with her care, the expenses they've already incurred remain a tremendous weight on their shoulders.

As if this weren't enough, during this same difficult time, their beloved dog also needed veterinary care after being diagnosed with an enlarged heart. The combination of a serious medical emergency, unexpected travel expenses, mounting bills, and veterinary costs is more than anyone should have to face all at once.

Glenn and Sherry have spent years giving back to our pool community. They have brought people together, supported our players, and helped create friendships and memories that reach far beyond the pool table. They have been there for so many of us, and now they need us to be there for them.

We are asking our pool family, friends, and anyone who feels moved to help to come together and support Glenn and Sherry during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will help ease the financial burden of the medical care they had to pay for in Cabo, the cost to get Sherry back to the United States, the additional medical bills they have accumulated, and the unexpected veterinary expenses for their beloved dog.
