My name is Sherrie. I am 46 years old, and I have recently gone through a double mastectomy for Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in my right breast and Ductal Carcinoma in Situ in my left breast.

Following my double mastectomy due to the type of breast cancer I had, I was unable to keep my nipples. The physical changes have been incredibly difficult — I've struggled with my reflection and finding comfort in my own skin.

I didn't want to wait the full year that is typically required before considering 3D nipple tattoos or surgical reconstruction. When I shared about using temporary tattoos to help during this in-between stage, my cousin Rachelle introduced me to silicone nipples — something I didn't even know existed.

Knowing how much this has affected me, my wonderful husband Dave went out of his way to find temporary 3D nipple tattoos and surprised me with them. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made a difference in how I feel about myself. This emotional journey has been challenging, but finding out about silicone nipples gave me so much hope. With them, I wouldn't even need to go through another surgery — they would help me feel more like myself again.

I'm simply asking for help to purchase two sets of silicone nipples. It may seem like a small thing, but with me currently unable to work, Dave supporting us on one income, and medical bills continuing to pile up, we can't afford this right now.

I know it may sound silly to some, but having this option would mean the world to me. It would help me regain a sense of confidence and comfort in my own body during this healing process.
