A fresh start and a lighted pathway

Hi! Many of you know me - I am Sherri Cooper. I have spent most of my life and my professional career in education making a massive difference for thousands of people.
Recently, I have been challenged with what's so regarding the indebtedness of my student loans. I am now 64 years old and I am close to retirement - filing for social security. See, I have been going to school since I was 17 and most of the people who know me, know I worked extremely hard to get my bachelor's degree, then my master's degree, and finally my doctorate in 2016 at the age of 56. I have been teaching and providing leadership throughout my entire journey.
I have come to the realization that filing for bankruptcy is not a bad idea and it will resolve the student loan debts that are equal to half a million dollars including interest. I am letting go of the embarrassment associated with filing a bankruptcy and I am creating the empowering context that this is a fresh start and lights the pathway for others in the same boat as I am.
The stark and cold reality is that this is not going to go away and it is going to get worse. This route empowers me. I am asking people I don't know and people I do know to respond to this request to contribute for the legal fees that will support this process.
I don't need to be an old lady on a walker paying student loans. That won't serve anyone! lol!
Your donation will go to pay the legal fees.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.
