Help Sherri Beat Metastatic Breast Cancer
This is my beautiful best friend, Sherri. For those who don't know her, she is a native of Wellsboro, PA and a 1990 graduate of Wellsboro High School. In 2018, Sherri was diagnosed with breast cancer (DCIS, Ductal Carcinoma in SITU). Since her initial diagnosis, she has beat this cancer, twice. However, in May of 2021, her DCIS returned and it has metastasized to her liver.
As you may know, it is common for those fighting cancer to experience financial distress - travel expenses, unpaid time off from work, treatments not covered by insurance, and co-pays can unnecessarily increase the level of financial stress one has while undergoing treatment. Coping with cancer is hard enough and no one should have to have the added burden of financial stress during this difficult time. When one's stressors are significantly reduced, the body can more easily heal and regain health.
Sherri's family and friends humbly request any financial assistance that you are able to give to help her with this next journey. As well, we ask for prayers of strength and health for Sherri and her family as well as prayers of wisdom for her health care team.
Thank you for your consideration.
