Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy message. My sister, Sherri Ard, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. She, not long ago, just finished her successful battle against B cell lymphoma. She’s truly a warrior!

Within a week of this new cancer diagnosis, they had chemo started which is wonderful. While we search for the perfect stem cell transplant donor, Sherri will be going through chemo and then be placed into quarantine. She will be unable to work for several months after chemo, transplant & recovery. Her schedule has already been flipped upside down with the need for a blood transfusion so early in the treatment timeline.

Due to the extensive travel for treatment, time away from work and ever growing medical bills, I have set up this GoFundMe account to try and assist financially. We have also opened a Medical Fund account at Jersey Shore State Bank that these funds will move into from the GoFundMe account and for anyone who would rather donate directly. When sending funds directly to Jersey Shore, please make the check to “Sherri Ard” and in the MEMO please write “MEDICAL FUND”. Sending payment directly to Jersey Shore will prevent the fees charged by GoFundMe. The bank will directly deposit into the Medical Account. You are welcome to also drop off payments at the bank and they can directly place in the account.

She is never one to ask for help but she is climbing another mountain that will take so much from her and worrying about her bills should not be stealing her healing energy.
