Update on Sherman’s Healing Journey 5/20

Thank you all for the continued support and kind messages it means the world to our family. Sherman, our brave little service dog, is showing signs of healing after suffering severe thermal burns during a routine procedure. His resilience continues to amaze us.

The burns on his underbelly have started to scab over, and the worst of the open wounds are slowly closing with the help of consistent wound care that went from every two days to now every three days. He’s still on medication for pain and infection control, and we’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable as the healing process is ongoing.
