Help Sherman Haddix get back on his feet

My name is Shawn and my friend Sherman is in need of some help. He had a heart attack and stroke. After already having a hard year with finances with the pandemic he is now technically homeless. I have a home found for him but its priced at 5,000. I am hoping that with some help and generosity he can have his home in no time. He is progressing well with physical therapy and wants to get his dog Bella back home with him. He hasn't been with her in 3 months after his stroke and misses her dearly. Me and my wife are trying as hard as we can to get him back on his feet but we only have so much to give. Please, anything will help
