Sherlock and his brother Watson have been my boys since I found them as tiny kittens, abandoned in a cardboard box on the side of 64 in Apex. From the moment I brought them home, they’ve been a source of comfort and joy, helping me through some of the toughest times in my life. Sherlock, in particular, has always been a gentle soul—he’s done his best to suffer in silence, but now he needs help.

Recently, Sherlock developed a severe case of gingivitis. I’ve tried everything I can to help him, but the vet says it’s not going away. The next step is to remove all of his teeth to finally get him out of pain. While it’s a difficult decision, I can’t stand to see him hurting anymore. He’s only four years old and deserves a chance at a pain-free, happy life.
