Hi, my name is Sheri and I'm a local in our community. I've never done this before and hate to even attempt as it's not in my character to feel as if I'm begging to a community of people who are probably struggling in their own ways. However, life has gotten tough (more than tough) for a newly single mother and her daughters. I was primarily a stay-at-home mother for years and due to personal misfortunes, now have to navigate life alone with my children. I've taken all the steps to make our situation better, including social services, but it's just not enough. We are close to eviction and I cannot make all the ends meet despite my best efforts. My youngest was born in this home and it's the only home she's ever known. We have no family here. Due to all of the recent changes in her life, I'd love to be able to not add one more by making her have to change schools during her last few months of first grade. This would be detrimental to her. She's such a smart, caring, intelligent little girl and my heart is breaking. My older daughter works her butt off to help mama make ends meet, but even together we can't manage.
