Hi everyone, this is a difficult ask for me because I am very independent and work very hard to be financially responsible (a majority of my income goes to loans. I want to avoid filing for bankruptcy at all cost).
Last week, while visiting my brother Matthew for his 40th birthday, my (ex) roommates decided to move out without giving me 30 day notice. In fact they had not given me any indication they were looking at leaving and had moved all of their belongings out while Jadie and I were gone. They did pay rent for May but, because they had moved to a new place, refused to pay the April utilities. I have posted the room for rent on various sites but have not gotten any inquiries. I have also looked at other places in the area within my budget with little luck. I recieved a very generous donation from a close friend to cover the April utilities and now I am asking for help to cover June rent and utilities. My hope is that I will get the room rented and if that does not work out Jadie and I will be looking at moving in July.
