Campaign story

My name is Rev. Dr. Willie B. White, and I am the pastor of Shepherd Ministries Baptist Church. For seven years, our ministry has worked to share faith, encourage families, and serve our community through worship, prayer, teaching, and outreach.

Our commitment to community service includes our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway. In our first year, we distributed 64 backpacks, followed by 150 backpacks the following year. These efforts represent children and families we were able to reach and encourage.

We are working toward the next chapter of our ministry: establishing a permanent home where we can expand worship, prayer, youth education, after-school enrichment, workforce development, and community outreach.

We are beginning with an initial fundraising milestone of $25,000. This is the first step toward a much larger building-acquisition effort, not the full purchase price. The building photographs included here show a property we hope to acquire; the church has not yet secured it as its permanent home.

We invite friends, families, fellow believers, community partners, and everyone who believes in this vision to stand with us. A gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or another amount meaningful to you can help us move toward our first milestone. If you cannot give, sharing this campaign with others is also a meaningful way to help.

Thank you for considering a contribution and helping Shepherd Ministries Baptist Church take this next step toward a permanent home for faith, learning, service, and opportunity.
