My name is Shena, and I am raising money for power-assist wheelchair wheels.
Three years ago, I became quadriplegic after a spinal cord injury. Since then, I have worked hard to rebuild my life, my independence, and my daily routines. But getting around in a manual wheelchair can be extremely difficult, especially on uneven ground, hills, long distances, or days when my body is tired.
Power-assist wheels would make a huge difference in my life. They would help me move more safely and independently, reduce strain on my shoulders and arms, and make it easier for me to get through everyday tasks without needing as much help from others.
This is not just about mobility. It is about freedom. It is about being able to move through the world with more confidence, dignity, and independence.
The cost of power-assist wheels is expensive, and I am asking for help to make this possible. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much. If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also be deeply appreciated.
