Hi, my name is ShellySantiago, and I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this.

I have scleroderma, which makes it impossible for me to work. I rely on a walker and a wheelchair to get around, and I am also in need of a spinal procedure. Right now, I am three months behind on my rent and at risk of losing my apartment. I've been denied unemployment, and while I'm applying for Social Security, it’s taking longer than I can afford.

I have no family to stay with and no other place to go. Any help you can provide will go directly toward my rent and help me keep my home.
