Hi, I’m Shelly, and I’m asking for help for myself, Bert, Copper, and the rest of our little animal family. I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m recovering from a traumatic attack and trying to heal from injuries that have turned our lives upside down. On top of that, The head trauma has gave me vertigo, and right now it has stopped me in my tracks. I can’t drive, can’t work, can’t bend over, and even walking can make the room spin. Bert is working hard, but one income is not enough when rent, medical bills, and everyday needs keep piling up. My daughter helps me during the week, and I’m deeply grateful, but evenings and weekends are especially hard.

I’ve spent my life being the strong one for my family, my pets, and my community, so asking for help is not easy. But right now, I truly need support.
