Help Shelly and Daughter Avoid Homelessness

Hello all,

My name is Shelly. I have never been in this situation before and feel very embarrassed. Within the next week I fear that my daughter and I will become homeless. We currently live in a Budget Suites in Addison Texas. I lost my job about 5 weeks ago and will no longer be able to afford to stay here. My unemployment should be starting up soon. TWC said I could file as early as tomorrow. However, that takes a week or two to kick in. I have tried to find work, but I have no car. I use public transportation. My daughter is having a bike delivered today so she can start trying to do some door dash in our area. This bike is being delivered and donated strictly through the kindness of strangers. We are all alone and I don't know what else to do to try and help us. I work in accounting but have had a hard time finding a job. Today I will go to apply at McDonald's, Kroger and any other place around us to seek employment. I just need help. God bless us all.
