Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be writing this again, but unfortunately, my cancer has returned—this time in my liver and spleen. I’ll be undergoing a splenectomy and partial hepatectomy in June to remove the affected areas. After surgery and recovery, I’ll begin chemotherapy once I’ve healed and received the second round of vaccinations required by my medical team.

As I prepare for this next chapter in my fight, I’m reaching out for help. Being out of work during recovery means I’ll be facing financial challenges covering both medical and living expenses. On top of that, I need to ensure that Mochi and Maple are safely boarded while I undergo surgery, as there’s a possibility I’ll need to remain in the hospital for a few days.

I’m starting this fundraiser now to prepare for the expenses that begin around June 11. Funds raised will help cover:

• Medical costs related to surgery and chemotherapy

• Rent and essential living expenses during recovery

• Boarding costs for Mochi and Maple during my hospital stay

• Transportation and other care-related needs
