Hello Everyone,

My sister, Shelley, had brain cancer five years ago and she went through surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. She had to endure the same treatments all over again seven months ago when it returned in her spine, but they were not able to remove all of the cancer this time. Now it has metastasized to other parts of her spine and as well as in her cerebrospinal fluid.

There is no cure, and her health has deteriorated greatly over the past few weeks and will continue to decline as the months go by. She has extreme difficulty walking, short term memory loss, and back pain, among many other difficult symptoms.

She will be having Home Care to help with some of the medical aspects of her disease, but they do not cover two of the main things that Shelley has always done for her family which is cooking and cleaning. Her husband, Al, is amazing and is overseeing many aspects of her care such as managing her medications, taking her to appointments, doing laundry, etc., but doing so many things while working a full-time job make it impossible to find the time or energy to prepare meals and clean the house too.

It would be such a huge help to be able to hire outside workers to help out Shelley and Al during this very difficult time, so we are hoping to raise enough money to give them this extra support over the coming months.  Shelley has always been the most generous, giving, kind, thoughtful, and sweetest soul on earth. 
This is our time to give back in a way that helps her now.
