Hello, my name is Amelia and I’m asking our loving community in helping my parents as they have lost their home to a house fire. They and their two sweet dogs Annie and Westley were unharmed thankfully but they have lost everything. While insurance should cover rebuilding their home and replacing the vehicle that was lost (UPDATE -while insurance did pay the remainder of the car loan, neither their home insurance policy or vehicle insurance policy will do anything to replace Shelley’s Jeep), they need to replace all the basics and essentials immediately. Several people have asked how they can be of help (thank you! My family feels all the love). We wanted to provide a place where people can donate so that they can get all of the essentials and we can provide some relief as they work through this awful thing and rebuild their life together.
