If you know Shelley and Jim Barker, you know that they are always the first in line to help others.

On the evening of December 22nd, Shelley and Jim's home was badly damaged by fire. While we are unsure of what the insurance company will rule, the home is not livable and likely will be a total loss.

So many have asked what you can do. Right now, the immediate need is to help them replace the basics, help offset the cost of lost work days for Shell, help them replace food and many other items they have lost. The road ahead will be long for them. My sister hates to ask for anything, but I reassured her that now is the time to allow people to help.
