Help Sheldon Budrys on his cancer journey

Hey , my name is Melanie and I’m setting up this fundraiser for my baby brother Sheldon Budrys . He is 53 years old, married to his highschool sweetheart , has 3 children, 1 grandchild and another on the way at the end of this month. The backstory is — on Jan 20 he was diagnosed with Covid - it was a mild case and he recovered quickly . In the next couple of weeks he began to experience shortness of breath and extreme tiredness . After many phone calls / visits to the Dr he was diagnosed with double pneumonia and sent on his way . It was at this time he was told that the business he had worked at for 26 years was closing and he would be out of a job at the end of the month  (which means the end of his insurance). He was getting much sicker and his Dr was doing nothing. He found a new Dr who immediately ordered a ct scan- it was Stage 4 lung cancer (he's never smoked) . He went to The Mayo Clinic in Florida ( they are awesome ) where they did many more test. He was told yesterday that it has metastasized to his brain . They rushed him to The Medical Center in Macon ( per the Mayo Clinic) to start on IV steroids for the swelling and also radiation. He will stay there until he can be transferred to The Mayo Clinic asap for further aggressive treatment. His wife Amy will also be out of work to help take care of him . She will be trying to add him to her insurance if possible. With the price of gas , hotel rooms , food ,  the hospital itself,  and everyday expenses, I am humbly asking for donations to help them thru this time . They have a long, hard road ahead of them.
