Hello everyone

We are looking to raise funds for one of my best mates Sheldon Morfoot aged 31, who unfortunately has recently been diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). MS is a life long illness caused by the immune system attacking the brain and nerves which can lead to a range of different life changing symptoms. Although this condition cannot be cured it can be treated and managed.

Sheldon’s mum sadly passed away from the same condition back in 2015.

There is a specialised treatment called Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) available in Mexico. The treatment is intense chemotherapy over a period of 28 days. The treatment sounds really positive and will give Sheldon a chance of prolonging the serious side effects of the condition, however is going to cost him £50,000. This not including travel expenses and after care he will require following the treatment.

Sheldon is looking to get the treatment as soon as possible with the intention of treating it sooner rather than later for the best possible outcome. Obviously this is a huge amount of money therefore any contributions towards that anyone can spare no matter how big or small to take up some of his financial burden would be greatly appreciated in getting Sheldon the treatment he needs.
