Hi everyone,

My dog Sheldon was rushed to the vet after suddenly losing movement in his back legs.

In the next few days, he’ll need an MRI scan to confirm the necessity of a spinal surgery.

The vet gave us a 93% chance of recovery with surgery, which gives me so much hope despite he having 11 years old.

Unfortunately, the costs have already become overwhelming:

• $1,600 AUD already owed in vet bills

• $3,000 AUD estimated for surgery

I’m currently in Australia on a temporary visa, still paying the costs of my visa process, rent, and living expenses.

I work full-time in Marketing, but with these unexpected vet bills and the current cost of living, the only way I can manage is through extra freelance work and the kindness of people willing to help.

I’ve set a goal of $5,000 AUD, which will go directly towards Sheldon’s MRI, surgery, hospital stay, and medication.
