In 2025, my life took an unexpected turn. I was off work for five months due to a work injury, and during that time, I also needed surgery. As if that wasn’t enough, my daughter suffered a serious back injury and required surgery as well. Most of my time away from work was either unpaid or paid at a fraction of my normal salary, and despite my best efforts, I fell behind on my bills. Now, I am facing the possibility of losing both my car and my home—my car is in the process of being repossessed, and my house is in foreclosure.

I have been working closely with both lenders to try to resolve these issues, but I am currently short on the funds needed to catch up on my past due balances. The past year has been extremely challenging for my family, not only financially but also mentally and emotionally.
