Help Shelby with her medical bills, please

To everyone that has donated so far, THANK YOU, I cannot begin to express how much of a blessing you all have been. I wanted to give everyone a quick update to how things have been progressing with Shelby’s treatment. We have transferred most of her treatment plan to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. This decision was made after consulting with multiple members of her family and medical professionals. The advanced conditions of both her cancers makes her a rare case, I’ve always known she’s a one in a million type of person but the prognosis has appeared to have validated my assumptions. She has had more testing and imaging done recently and they have scheduled her surgery to take place in mid May. As the medical bills roll in and travel expenses are accumulating, it’s becoming apparent that these will continue after her next surgery, and the radiation treatments. Anything is welcomed, and prayers are our priority, we need strength and support and the Lord’s gentle healing throughout this process. God Bless and Thank you all.

On Christmas Eve of 2022, Shelby woke up to intense kidney pains. After arriving at the ER at St Luke’s in Meridian, a CT scan showed a lemon sized mass on her left kidney. She spent the next two weeks getting more scans and tests while in unbearable pain. Since then we have found out that she has Papillary Thyroid Cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. Recently she has had a large, complex surgery that successfully removed the mass on her adrenal gland, as a result she has lost a kidney, adrenal gland, and a decent sized chunk of her diaphragm. She is currently hospitalized at St Al’s in Boise. After this recovery she will still need an extraction of her thyroid’s and lymph nodes. This is going to be a long battle for a sweet, giving, compassionate young woman. Anything helps. Please Share and continue praying for her recovery.
