Hello everyone. On Sunday, July 3rd, my friend Shelby suffered a major crash racing Redbud while visiting his family in Michigan. He was then air-lifted to the closest trauma center in Indiana, where he was placed into an induced coma and put on a ventilator due to the massive impact to his head. As of now(July 5th), he has been taken out of his induced coma and off the ventilator. However, Shelby still has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He is still very disoriented with memory lapses and cannot walk yet/has trouble speaking. We are being told all of this is temporary. However, he will need to be in rehab for the next month or so.

 

Everyone that has gotten to know Shelby knows how great of a person he truly is and that this is the last thing he needs and/or deserves.

 

Right now, I have a funding goal set, however I do not truly know how much this will cost Shelby and am humbly asking for all the help he can get. Anything helps.
