This afternoon, my dear friend Shelby's house caught on fire. We do not yet know the complete extent of the damages, but we know for sure that the second floor of the home (her bedroom) is completely gone. Along with the emotional pain that comes with a fire is the financial burden. Shelby is a full-time college student who has been out of work because of the pandemic. Just a few weeks ago she had to take one of her lizards to the vet and between the tests and medication for him, she nearly depleted her savings. She is not prepared to face an even larger financial hardship so soon. Please help us lift some of this burden from Shelby and her family by donating to this cause. Shelby has lost all of her personal belongings in the blink of an eye. This was a traumatic event that will stay with her family for many years to come.
