My name is Shelby, and I’m living with functional neurological disorder, dysautonomia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. These conditions have changed my life in ways I never expected. I now rely on a wheelchair and can’t walk without help or a walker. It’s been incredibly hard to step away from the things I love, like playing softball, and to adjust to a new way of living each day.
One thing that could truly change my life is a service dog. A service dog would be able to alert me before an episode happens, giving me time to prepare and keep myself safe. This kind of support would help me regain my independence, feel more confident, and start returning to the activities and moments that make me feel like myself again.
Helping me raise the money for a service dog is something I can’t even put into words how amazing it is. Thank you so much for donating your hard earned money to help me gain my independence back and feel human again. Your support means the world to me, and I am so grateful for any help you can give.
