My name is Shelby, and for most of my life, I have struggled with obesity. In August 2025, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and that moment changed everything for me. I made the decision to completely transform my lifestyle, and through a lot of hard work and determination, I was able to lose the weight that had held me back for so long.

While I am proud of how far I have come, I am now facing a new challenge—excess loose skin that makes it hard for me to feel good about myself. Even after all my progress, I find myself struggling to feel beautiful when I look in the mirror. The loose skin is a daily reminder of my past, and it affects my confidence and well-being.
