Hello, my name is Karleigh. My 28-year-old sister, Shelby, recently had a baby on December 29th, 2025. After giving birth, she was in more pain than normal; something just didn’t feel right. She went to the doctor and got the call on February 27th, 2026, that no one ever wants to receive. She was diagnosed with a rare, highly aggressive cervical cancer called adenosquamous carcinoma stage 3 that has spread to her lymph nodes.

Shelby is the most selfless person I know; she would never ask for help even if she’s drowning.

She has 3 little ones and a husband at home who need her.

She just recently started chemo and radiation, but her insurance doesn’t cover it all, so she’s having to pay an outrageous amount in co-pays. She’s also having to stop breastfeeding and buy formula for her 3-month-old, which is also expensive.

My mom is taking off work for a month to go stay with her in Texas while she goes through treatments. She has a long road ahead and needs all the prayers and help she can get, but she also has so many people who love and care for her. She will not go through this alone.
