I am Cara Edwards, Shelby Edwards mother.

Shelby is 9 years old and she began Brazilian Jiujitsu on June 3, 2024 at Culture Brazilian Jiujitsu in Sw OKC, Ok

Shelby attends class at most 7 days a week

Mon-Thursday for regular classes

Friday for Competition Classes

Saturday for Open Mat

Sundays for Private lessons

Shelby has found her passion, which is crazy to say because she has never been committed to a sport before.

No other sport has interested her in the way that Brazilian Jiujitsu has.

Perhaps it’s the students that she loves rolling with or the Coaches that more less feel like family.

Shelby has spent the past 7 months devoting herself to class, competing, creating a successful online presence to other girls or kids that may be inspired to join this sport.

I am looking for your support for her 2025 year.

Registration fees for the American Grappling Federation can cost up to $220 Shelby likes to compete in 4 divisions

Gi/ NogI/Gi Challenger/ NoGi Challenger

Gi and No Gi is bracketed by

Same Age, Same weight, Same belt rank, Same Gender

Gi and NoGi Challenger is bracketed by only same weight.

With a Lifetime Membership to AGF Shelby can compete in any/all divisions, any/all tournaments including WORLDS, any/all states within the United States.

With Shelby obtaining a lifetime membership you are insuring Shelby to FOREVER strive to be better and most importantly as a small family we can focus on the expenses of traveling and lodging to any/all tournaments, her private lessons, and regular gym membership.

The support Shelby gets on the mats and at local competitions has meant we have all gone on a journey that I'm proud of, and would like to see her grow even more during her first year.

Your support will not go unnoticed. I post daily on Shelbys Instagram page (27k+ following) and full matches are uploaded to Shelbys YouTube Channel and the appropriate recognition to those who contribute will be mentioned on all socials and possibly even listed on her competition attire.
