My dad recently passed away, and I am heartbroken that I don’t have the funds to travel and say my last goodbye. This loss is incredibly hard, and not being able to be there for his final moments makes it even more painful. My dad was the greatest person—a wonderful dad, grandpa, son, and friend to so many. He meant the world to me and my family, and his passing has left a huge hole in our lives.

I have four children, including a newborn, and I haven’t been able to work since having my baby. I don’t get paid for maternity leave, so finances are very tight right now. The funds raised will help cover travel costs for me and my kids so we can say our last goodbye to my dad. It’s important to us, especially for his grandkids, to have the chance to honor him and remember the love he gave us.
