Dear Friends, Family, and our kind Community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved co-worker and friend, Shehroz Alam. Shehroz was an integral part of our Enerex work family for over 5 years, contributing his talents as a UI/UX Software Engineer in New Delhi, India.
On July 4th, 2024, Shehroz experienced a severe headache and suddenly collapsed at work. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with an acute brain bleed, also known as intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Despite the immediate and heroic efforts of the medical team, who managed to revive him and place him on life support, his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to multiple organ failure. We held onto hope for a miracle, but were ultimately informed that his condition was beyond recovery.
At just 27 years old, Shehroz tragically passed away on July 5, 2024, leaving behind a loving wife who is three months pregnant, a two-year-old daughter, his parents, and three younger siblings. His untimely and sudden passing has left his family in a state of profound grief and financial uncertainty. Shehroz was not only the emotional backbone of his family but also the primary financial provider.
In this time of unimaginable loss, we are coming together to support Shehroz's family. We have established this GoFundMe page to provide financial assistance during this incredibly challenging period. Your contributions will go directly to helping them with medical and funeral costs, manage day-to-day expenses, and provide some stability as they navigate through this difficult time. Any remaining funds can be contributed towards helping Shehroz's children's future education and living expenses. Every bit helps, and your support will be a great comfort to Shehroz's family as they face the future without him.
I hope that Shehroz's passing serves as a reminder for everyone of how fragile life is, and to cherish every moment we get with our loved ones. Strive to live more fully, love more deeply, and support each other earnestly. His vibrant spirit touched many lives around him, reminding us that our time here is borrowed, and it is up to us to make the most of it. Let us be generous, kind, and supportive of one another, just as Shehroz always was.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support for his family during this difficult time is a testament to the love and compassion we should strive to inspire in ourselves and our children. I hope this kindness is returned to you in abundance. God Bless!
