Help Sheena Stay Alive

Hello everyone My name Sheena Popo I am 31years old, this is the story of how I got here.

5years ago (2016) I stated noticing slow and gradual changes within my body. My limbs felt weak, my hand trembled when I tried to reach for things, I staggered and swayed when I walked and it became increasingly difficult carry out every day tasks.

I sought  Medical Attention in St. Lucia where I reside but the doctors kept coming back with no results to what was causing me the symptoms I was experiencing .

By 2018 I could only walk very  short distances  stopping frequently to take breaks or I’d feel dizzy and fall to the ground . My symptoms had gotten considerably worse.

I traveled to the British Virgin Islands and there after undergoing several tests I was diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and also found out I was going to have a baby.

Multiple sclerosis is caused by your immune system mistakenly attacking the
brain and nerves.  MS is 1 of the most
common causes of disability in younger adults as it affects communication between the brain and the rest of  your body.

As you can imagine It was horrifying
news especially when the doctor mentioned it is treatable but NOT CURABLE .
But I’m fighter and I choose to live by
faith that nothing is impossible for the 
One whom Created me!!

Since around the 4th month of my
pregnancy till now (My son Yarden is now 1yr old) I have been unable to stand or walk at all, what basic use I had of my hands are now gone and it takes all my
strength to speak. I’m unable to do anything on my own . I am not able to dress myself  take my own baths or feed myself.

Added to that my son Yarden has also
taken ill within the past couple of weeks and has been at the hospital for several
days. The doctors are Suggesting that it might be sickle-cell although neither myself or his father has it. Right now we need a Miracle.

I haven’t been able to care for my son in the ways a child needs a mother and this
is honestly the most crushing part for me. I can’t even sing to him..
I JUST WANT TO LIVE FOR MY BOY.

I’m asking for your assistance  in helping me do so with earnest  prayers and donations.

Donations are for medical treatment in Martinique and medical bill incurred by Yarden being in hospital.  It doesn’t matter how little your donation, I am grateful for whatever you can donate .
