My name is Sheena, and last month I experienced a medical emergency. Out of nowhere, I had to rush to the hospital and undergo emergency gall bladder surgery. While my insurance thankfully covered a large portion of the costs, I was left with hospital bills that are simply too much for me to handle on my own. As a single adult living alone, I already juggle my regular bills, and this unexpected expense has left me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward.
I did everything I could to find a solution, including applying for Care Credit, but unfortunately, none of the health bill collectors will accept it. That left me back at square one, facing these mounting bills without a clear way to pay them. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering my hospital bills from the surgery, helping me get back on my feet and focus on healing without the constant stress of debt hanging over me.
I know that it’s a difficult time right now with the current climate in our state, and I wouldn’t ask unless it was absolutely necessary. Your support would mean the world to me, and any help you can give—no matter how small—will make a real difference in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation.
