Help Sheela Whalen in her Road to Recovery

Hi,

My Name is Leanna I am fundraising to help Sheela in her long road to recovery after suffering a major stroke!

Most of you are close with Sheela or may know her as the youngest Whalen sister, in the past year Sheela has been dealing with some circulation issues in her foot, somedays with no movement and unable to walk after several doctors’ visits and an X-ray the doctor didn't see any issues and brushed it off meanwhile Sheela had a Blood Clot that traveled to her brain.

On February 16th Sheela suffered a major stoke, she was rushed to the hospital and into surgery to remove the blood clot from her brain, now at 31 years old she is living her worst nightmare she has little movement in her left side and lost complete movement in the right side of her body as well as total loss of speech. Her boyfriend RJ and her sisters have been by her side advocating for her as she is unable to communicate.

Doctors are confident that she will learn to walk and speak again but it will be a very long road to recovery for Sheela and a huge strain financially for her and RJ. It would be amazing if we could raise some funds to help relieve some of the financial stress that will come along with this long road ahead of them.
