Hi everyone,

Sheba, a friend and collaborator, is currently in a really tough situation. Due to emergency circumstances, she's currently houseless and needs all the help she can get to get herself back on her feet. The money raised will be going to help secure housing and to either fix or purchase a new vehicle so she can have access to her own mode of transportation again.

The faster we can get funds to her the better as this situation is time-sensitive.

I met Sheba a few years ago in Portland, when she had just recently moved back from Atlanta to be with her son Maurice, and we've kept in touch ever since. She's an incredibly kind and caring person who has unfortunately been met with a lot of hardships in the last few years.

Portland is home for her—having been born and raised here—and it's where she intends to stay, whatever it takes. Let's help her ensure that she's financially secure so she can focus on being a mom and building a home here.
