Help Shea's Family During This Critical Time
Donation protected
My name is Makayla and I am trying to raise money for my Aunt Shea, who I’ve taken care of for around 3 years now. Shea is a 47-year-old retired nurse due to her disabilities. She worked as a correctional nurse and in long-term facilities for many years. She had her first stroke coupled with seizures 6 years ago and has struggled to accept her new normal, even after all this time.
On Friday, November 29th, we found out Shea had another stroke on the opposite side of her brain. She is in the ICU at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She is on a ventilator, and we have not seen much improvement in her neurological status.
With Shea being on disability for the last six years and unable to work, she did not have enough money to have had a savings built up for any emergencies, and she did not have a life insurance policy. All of her 401K was used when she had her first stroke in 2019. We would like to honor Shea’s final wishes and be able to take care of the things she is not able to handle on her own. Any help is greatly appreciated by myself and her entire family to take some of the stress away and be able to give her what she deserves. Thank you all so much for any prayers, thoughts, or donations.
