Help Shaylee for Brain On FIRE Disease

Donation protected
Shaylee had what was called nmrd receptor encephalitis. Which is called brain on fire disease. It started out with her wrist hurting then we thought it was a psychotic break. She was do bad her demeanor changed and she got violent, hallucinating and saying psychotic things like she's dead we're all dead or not alive. the doctors in a psychiatrist thought it was best to put her in a psych ward since she's not being reasonable and she's not being her self and they're thinking that she just had a psychotic break since she's in college and that's what college kids sometimes do. So they looked for a bed in a psych ward they ended up shipping her to Selah and she had medical conditions as in a nosebleed and her left wrist would not stop moving and turning sending her to memorial hospital where the doctors and the psychiatrist said let's do a lumbar puncture where they noticed that she had an infection in her brain. They had a bunch of tests . Several MRIs several CAT scans blood work ultrasounds EKGs EEG lumbar every test you can think of. And  they are limiting it down to a n m r d receptor encephalitis which inflicts the brain..Turns out, my 21 year old sister is going through the same thing that 21-year-old Susannah Cahalan went through.

It's scary & saddening for her and everyone around her. She is being sent to a specialist in Seattle. It will be financially crushing  so we are asking for your help. We are not ones to ask for money but anything helps.
