My name is Erica Bryan and I am Shayla's mother. The most heartbreaking tragedy that my family has ever faced has occured resulting in the death of my nephew Jayden & the imprisonment of my daughter Shayla.  This is devastating to my baby sister Natashia & Shayla along with the rest of my entire family. This was an unbelievable senseless tragedy for which only God knows the why's. Contrary to what you may have heard, this was an accident.Anyone who knows Shayla knows just who & how she is, her heart is big as the universe and she does all that she can to help others and see people come up and do better in life, she would give you the shirt off her back and  if you know her & Jay then you know they had a special relationship and nothing in this world would make her intentionally cause him any harm. My sister knows that too and has given her approval of me creating this account.  If you know me well enough then you know that creating this page is one of the hardest things I've ever typed, I don't ask anyone for anything its just who I am as a person but I have ZERO pride when it comes my children. So I have to swallow every ounce of my pride if that means I can help my daughter. I can't even tell you the many things she has done for me & our family. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of her she is a decorated Army Vet  among many other accomplishments. Many of you reading this she has done for too. So if it is in your heart to give then no amount is too small.
