On my way home recently, my son and I were involved in a hit and run accident. The other driver fled the scene, causing multiple crashes and leaving us shaken. I suffered minor injuries, but my son, who has special needs, ended up with a swollen and cut eye. It’s been a frightening experience for both of us, and I’m currently off work for a few days to recover and care for him.
What makes this even harder is that I had just gotten my jeep less than a month ago, and now it’s gone. My insurance only covered liability, and the other driver didn’t have current insurance, so I’m left without a vehicle. This is especially tough because my son relies on me to get him to his appointments and therapies, which are essential for his well-being. I have some of my own money to put toward a new car, but I can’t cover the full cost on my own.
I’m reaching out for help so I can get a new vehicle and make sure my son doesn’t miss any of his important appointments. Any support—whether it’s a donation, sharing our story, or simply keeping us in your prayers—would mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for being part of our journey to recovery.
