Help Shawn's Journey to Mayo Clinic

My name is shenae, I am trying to help raise funds for my husband Shawn. He was diagnosed with Heart failure in 2019 and multiple myeloma last year. In March of 2024 he had a pacemaker and defibrillator put in to help close a bundle branch block that had worsened. Shawn has seen the best Doctors in Nashville and has done every test possible. Recently Shawn was tested for amyloid where the doctor believes can be contributing to his continued decline in health, their are 2 types of amyloid, one is terminal and the other can be treated with chemotherapy, either way he has a long road ahead. He was then referred to the Mayo Clinic for further help as there is nothing else that can be done. We are scheduled to drive to Minnesota on June 23rd and return July 3rd. Insurance will not cover any costs associated with his trip. I have reached out to multiple local resources with no help. We have 3 children together and he has 4 other children . We have a lot of unknown costs that we will be facing, right now we need immediate help with hotel, currently the cheapest I could find is $1177 for the 10days and factoring in gas and food we estimate the trip can costs around $3000.
