I own and operate a small residential remodeling business in central Maine. In early February, I lost all my sub-contracted employees to immigration due to a mix up. This resulted in several thousand dollars lost, and I had to cover the workload of four individuals, collect tools and belongings, and try to help my guys and their families as best I could. Two weeks ago, I had a heart attack very early Sunday morning and was hospitalized with two blockages in my heart. I received one stent immediately and will need a second stent in the next week or two.

I am looking for a little help to cover cost of living expenses for probably two months for myself, my wife, and our seven month old baby Cecelia until I am able to make a full return to work. The money will cover food, some utilities we need to keep, diapers, medications, gas, and some odds and ends for me and my family.

It's very humbling having to ask for help, and as someone who has always worked to provide for myself and my family, it's uncomfortable. However, sometimes it's necessary to swallow your pride and reach out. I will be eternally grateful for any help given while we navigate this time getting back on my feet.
