Five years ago, our lives changed forever. My sister, Shawna Rozelle, was the victim of a senseless act of violence when she was shot. That day left her a quadriplegic, confined to a wheelchair and facing daily challenges most of us could never imagine.
After years of waiting, fighting, and holding onto hope, justice has finally been served. The man responsible was just convicted. While that chapter is finally closing, my sister and her family are still left with the lifelong reality of what happened.
They continue to face overwhelming financial burdens—especially around transportation and making their home accessible. Simple things, like getting to medical appointments or moving around her own house, are daily struggles. Renovations are needed to make their home wheelchair-friendly, and reliable transportation is critical for her care.
We are asking for help to ease some of this weight. Every donation will go directly toward:
Rebuilding their home to be fully accessible
Reliable transportation for medical visits and everyday needs
Ongoing care and support that makes daily life a little easier
My sister has shown incredible strength and resilience through unimaginable circumstances. With your support, we can give her back some independence, comfort, and peace of mind.
If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Every share and prayer means more than you know.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for supporting Shawna Rozelle and helping her rebuild a life filled with dignity and hope.
