Hi everyone, my name is Allyson, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend, Shawna. Early this morning, on her way to work, Shawna was involved in a terrible car accident caused by a driver who fled the scene. The crash totaled her car—along with another vehicle—and left her with a fractured wrist and a concussion.

To make matters worse, Shawna was still financing her car and was so close to paying it off. Now, she’s left without transportation to get to work, take her kids to appointments, or handle everyday needs—all while she recovers and takes time off work to heal.

Shawna has had an extremely tough year, but through it all, she continues to show up for everyone around her. She’s one of the kindest, most selfless people I know—always the first to help others without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
