Hi, we are Michael and Lauren Moccia,

and we are starting this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend Shawna, who is facing an unimaginable loss.

Her husband, Brian, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind Shawna and their two young children, ages three and seven. Brian was not only a devoted husband and father — he was also the sole provider for their family, allowing Shawna to stay home and care for their children full time.

This tragedy has left Shawna not only heartbroken but also overwhelmed with the financial burden of funeral expenses and the uncertainty of what comes next.

I’m reaching out to ask for help—so Shawna can give Brian the respectful and loving farewell he deserves, and so she can have a little breathing room as she begins to navigate this new reality.
