Help Shawna and Grandson Through Tough Times

Hello my fellow good-hearted people. My name is Shawna Mulligan, a kind and caring mother and grandmother. I have raised three children and am currently raising my three-year-old grandson. At the beginning of this year, I asked God to help me remove all the toxic energy in my life. I was not ready for my life to be completely flipped upside down the way it was. God helped me eliminate all the toxic energy from my life. I lost my job, which was extremely toxic. Divorcing my husband, who is committing adultery with my family member. Change was definitely necessary, and I embrace it. I have had to deal with severe physical pain through it all. In July, I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and hospitalized for sepsis with two abscesses in my abdominal area. After a week in the hospital, they sent me home with a PICC line put in my arm to administer IV antibiotics at home. A month later, that was removed only to be back in severe pain again not long after. Antibiotics were just not working. The solution is to have surgery, which is scheduled now for December 12th. The surgery is called a robotic colectomy. There are risks that make me nervous, but this pain is unbearable, and I have to do something. It is a 6-week recovery as long as everything goes well.

I am asking for help because I haven't been able to work since June. I won't be cleared for work until mid-February. I pay for everything myself. I've gone through the last of my savings and have run up all my credit cards. Besides the $7,000 in medical bills, which will be higher after surgery, my $2,100 rent, bills, and other expenses have become an extremely stressful hardship. I really need help getting through these next few months. Becoming homeless through the holidays with my three-year-old grandson while I'm trying to heal just isn't an option. I'm usually very private and never ask people for help. I just really, really need the help and am running out of options. I have to believe there are more good people than bad out there.
