Hello friends, I am Shawn Truitt and at this trying time, I am asking for your assistance in preventing me from becoming homeless. Between August and September of last year, 2025, I spent over three weeks in the hospital and required surgery. Unfortunately, I lost my job and my apartment because of this. I've been staying with friends, but now I have a wonderful opportunity to move into the Sasona Co-op. It is a space with other like-minded people who equally share the rent, bills, food, and chores. I am very excited to be able to stay in Austin, Texas, while I look for gainful employment in the city that I love.
