Aid for My Leukemia Journey and Financial Hardships

On July 24, 2025, I received the life-changing news that I have chronic myeloid leukemia. Since my diagnosis, I haven't been able to work because of a severely swollen spleen. My doctor has told me to rest and avoid making it worse, and while the swelling is slowly going down, it has made it impossible for me to keep up with my job and daily responsibilities.

Because I haven't been able to work, I've fallen behind on my Jeep payments and am now three months past due. I'm also 45 days behind on a loan through my credit union, and I can't afford the insurance for my Jeep. To make things even harder, my Jeep's clutch burned out, so I can't drive it, and when it broke down after a recent medical appointment, someone broke in and stole my work tools. Living in a remote area makes it even more difficult to get help, and I've had to rely on family for support, but I can tell it's becoming a strain for them too.

I never thought I'd be in this position, but I'm reaching out because I need help to get through this tough time. A little help from a stranger, friend, or family will make a huge difference for me. This was my last resort—I hoped I'd be healed and back to work by now. Whatever support you can give, I will be truly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
