SYNOPSIS:

After her husband, Sam, is killed by a drunk driver, Rose McDaniel is haunted by violent nightmares and crippling grief. Confused and unpredictable, she wanders the city streets at night, reciting passages from the DMV driver handbook and confronting reckless drivers face-to-face. But when she is aggressively tailgated one night, her fragile grip on reality shatters — and the unthinkable happens.

My name is Shawn Flanagan and I’ve written a thriller inspired by the surreal style of David Lynch, exploring the importance of driver safety through a story with dark, violent undercurrents and dreamlike logic. This project is deeply personal to me, blending my passion for filmmaking with a message that matters.

Bringing this vision to the screen requires resources beyond what I can manage alone. The funds raised will go directly toward essential elements like equipment, hiring talented cast and crew, and providing meals for everyone involved. Every dollar helps us create a safe, supportive, and creative environment where this unique story can come alive.
